pineapple upside down cake

1/2 Cup butter
1 Cup brown sugar
1 can sliced pineapple
2 tbs pecans or walnuts
1 cup cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
3 eggs separated
1 cup sugar
5 tbsp pineapple juice

MELT butter in pan
SPREAD brown sugar
ARRANGE pineapple and pecans
MIX flour, baking powder and salt
BEAT egg yolks and sugar
ADD pineapple juice
ADD flour mixture
ADD beaten egg whites
POUR over pineapple and sugar in pan
BAKE 30/35 minutes at 375°F

TURN over serving plate
